Instructor: Amira Matsuda embarked on her Ikebana journey in 1995, cultivating a profound passion for the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement. By 1999, she began teaching and has since guided over 200 students, with more than 30 earning their teacher’s diplomas. A highly respected leader in the Ikebana community, Amira has served as Director of the Sogetsu Dallas Branch and President of the Ikebana International Dallas Chapter #13. She founded the Ikebana4U School in Plano and continues to teach across Texas, from the Oak Point Recreation Center to the Fort Worth Botanical Garden. Her expertise has been showcased in international seminars, art exhibitions, and large-scale installations, earning her prestigious awards for cultural contributions.
