The Arkansas Cherry Blossom Festival is pleased to introduce the Origami Competition, proudly sponsored by Aitoh Specialty Paper. Open to artists of all ages, the competition celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and the traditional Japanese art of paper folding.
Competition Categories
- Youth (up to age 17)
- Youth Club or Class
- Adult
Entries will be displayed at the Arkansas Cherry Blossom Festival, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded in each category.
As a special participant benefit, everyone who completes registration will receive verification of registration, which provides the opportunity to purchase specialty papers at wholesale prices from Aitoh Specialty Paper prior to the festival. This verification will be sent after registration is completed and may be used to contact Aitoh to schedule a shopping appointment at their warehouse, which is not typically open to the public.
Whether you are an experienced origami artist, part of a class or club, or new to origami, the Origami Competition is a wonderful way to share your work and be part of the Arkansas Cherry Blossom Festival.
